Background/Fingerprint Check required
Duties: Performs specialized non-sworn law enforcement functions and/or coordinating non-sworn law enforcement support services in the Records Section. Position also cross trains in the Police Communications position (dispatching). Shift, weekend, and holiday work may be required at times.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma and six months to one year of appropriate experience (office/computer knowledge). Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Ability to obtain State Certification on the NCIC/FCIC computer system.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior police dispatch, police service technician or police records experience.
